Maki is an evergreen native to Japan. Mount Kōya, the location of the main temple of Shingon Buddhism, is known for the forest of maki trees. The tree branches are used as an offering to the temple.

The clean, refreshing scent of maki reminds you of the deep forest of mythic Mount Kōya, and is ideal for relaxing and unwinding.
