Tea Pot and Small Cup
The small teapot and cup are perfect to brew your favorite tea. The pot comes with a removable metal strainer so placing and discarding loose tea leaves is a breeze. The glaze has an interesting mix of glossy and matte finish and gives the surface a slightly rough texture.
The small cup is also a perfect size for espresso. The pot and cup have simple shapes and a dark charcoal glaze, making them timeless pieces fit for any kitchen or living room.
They are made in a town called Oroshi in the Mino region where pottery makers specializing in wares like teapots that are hard to mass-produce are concentrated. Pottery has been practiced in the Mino region since 7th century and it is the largest pottery producing area in Japan
