Bandana - Karakusa
These are bandanas in a classic karakusa pattern. Karakusa is a stylized arabesque pattern said to be originated in ancient Greece and introduced to Japan in the 8th century through China. Endlessly growing vines imply prosperity and longevity, and the pattern became very popular in Japan.
We love the karakusa bandanas with their bright colors and a simple, bold twisting vines pattern. Use them as scarves (for yourself or for your dog), handkerchieves, or wrap your lunchbox; they are handy, versatile, and may possibly bring you a good luck!
