Renge Ramen Spoon
This boat-shaped, flat-bottomed spoon is called renge, meaning a lotus petal, as the shape of the spoon resembles the petal of lotus flower. This type of spoon is widely used in Southeast Asia and China. Renge is most commonly used in Japan as a ramen spoon.
The porcelain renge ramen spoons come in five chic colors to match or give an accent to your tableware. The end of the handle is bent so that it rests on the edge of a ramen bowl. They are porcelain so microwave and dishwasher safe, and made in Mino, the largest ceramic producing region in Japan.
