Oroshigane Japanese Grater

Regular price $ 16.00

This classic Japanese style grater is perfect for grating a small amount of foods such as ginger, garlic, or citrus zest. Unlike a box grater, the grated food stays on the grater. To clean, simply hold the grater under running water; the water pressure splashes away any food residue.

Because it is made of stainless steel, it feels heavy for its size. The weight gives the grater steadiness so the grating occurs in a smooth motion. The sharp teeth turn even the most fibrous ginger into a fine, smooth paste. Packaged in a retro style box.
