Lightweight Bandana - Toiro Collection - Higaki
Toiro is a collection of lightweight bandanas with prints inspired by traditional Japanese motifs. The pattern of this beautiful red bandana is called higaki, which refers to woven sheets made of thin cedar strips. Higaki is used as fences (see the fourth image), room dividers or ceiling material and its motif is one of the classic kimono prints. On the Toiro bandana the higaki is expressed in shibori (tie dye) style dots.
It is infinitely handy and versatile; wear it around the neck, cover the head, wrap your lunchbox or use it for any other purpose you like.
